Character Art by Andy Catling

This is the character art section with designs that have been created for different purposes and using different media. Hector and Rusker began life as pencil drawings that were scanned and then painted using a digital paint program.The dragon was created using more traditional methods. He too began as a pencil sketch in my sketchbook. The drawing was transferred to watercolour paper which was stretched and then had colour added using watercolours, coloured pencils and airbrush. The character art here represents work intended for TV, video games and childrens book illustrations.
