The illustrator: Andy Catling
Andy studied at the Norwich School of Art and Design achieving a BA(Hons) in animation while simultaneously sowing the seeds for a career in illustration.
Andy works in a number of creative areas but particularly enjoys illustrating children’s books. He has produced a variety of titles for publishers such as Oxford University Press, Franklin Watts and Caterpillar books.
Andy’s visual style is figurative, characterful and friendly. He draws his inspiration from humour and often historical sources, enjoying the colour and imagined atmosphere of the past.
